SuperStockAndy Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Built this for the Revell Gearz contest. Definitely my best model, could be better but I'm dang proud of it Paint is Model Master Fathom green straight out of the can with no clear. I definitely learned a bunch of things with this build, now I gotta try it on other builds Thanks for looking
Haubenschild Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Thats a great looking build Andy! , I cant wait to see some more of your projects!
Lunajammer Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Really a nice build you've got there Andy. Excellent care and attention to kit details.
Marcus M. Jones Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 this is what i love about contests. it brings the best out of a builder. nicely done and good luck!
ShawnS Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 A very nice clean build Andy, that colour comes up really well on a Camaro. Well done.
crazyjim Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I had a '69 Camaro in about that exact color back in 1970. SHINY :) RULES!
SuperStockAndy Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 Philip, I debated stripes, but I decided it would make it too easy to screw up Thanks for the compliments guys, I really appreciate it
Harry P. Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 That turned out real nice! Good, clean foil work, too!
wgflatliner Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Looks good! The smoking tires would be scary with nobody behind the wheel to calm the beast.
CorvairJim Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Every time I think of a '69 Camaro model, I think it's a subject that's been done to death... Then I see a beauty like this one! Great job! The color makes it stand apart from the crowd.
SuperStockAndy Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) Thanks guys! Jim, I was going to do black with white stripes...then at the last minute I decided on Fathom Green to stand out more Oh, and Mark, I didn't realize there was no driver until I had already submitted the pictures Edited May 18, 2012 by SuperStockAndy
Badluck 13 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Andy, like everyone else here,I have to agree the color, looks great and in my opinion looks even better being you left off the stripes, very nice clean details on the trim n scripts....
Dominik Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 That turned out real nice! Good, clean foil work, too! I agree!
