Thanks for the links..I spent over an hour...LOL

A small update - i made the door handles and fitted them, after i had the right idea, wow to make them:

I'm a station wagon Nut , and yours is beautiful ! The colors are perfect 50's and your attention to details is top notch !

Can't believe I missed this one .

Thats beautiful. Actually looks like a job one of the professional car builders did for ambulance/hearse in the early 50s. Very nice and clean build. Not a Hudson fan

but you've hit the nail on the head with this one...EXCLLENT...

Hudson had very seriously considered building a wagon on the Stepdown chassis, but never did it due to projected low demand, as the 1941-47 wagons weren't very big sellers. The pictures I've seen reminded me of the 1948-50 Packard wagon with a small area of the body made of wood and the rest of it on the upside-down bathtub body with an elongated roof.

Had Hudson decided to produce the wagon as an all-steel car, I suspect very strongly that it would have looked very similar to this.

This is one of the most creative, well-done builds I've seen in a very long time. And the details are sparkling little gems.

GREAT job! I'm only sorry I didn't see this sooner.

Dominik, you did an AMAZING job on this beauty! I love all of the little details, the interior, paint colors... EVERYTHING flows together so perfectly...
