Junkman Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 That project is a do- able thing. Perhaps maybe it might inspire a resin caster to do Sky Kings wagon along with the Lovely an talented Miss Penny too ! Ed Shaver Right. Now all that's missing is the wagon.
High octane Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 This looks like its going to be every biy as good as the Hudson. Wonderful !! Maybe its just me but don't you think the Chrysler looks a bit like the Volvo Amazon. Just a teeny-weeny bit huh? What do you think fellas? Not at all!
Chuck Most Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Not at all! Tack on some fins, though...
PARTSMARTY Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 if moebius can keep putting out different great kits, you can tell where everybody's money will go!does anybody know of any other interesting cars from moebius? thanks marty
Cesar Bossolani Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 You know, I was just thinking. I've got this. It's an All-American Models '56 300B. I wonder how much work it'd be to adapt the interior parts, chassis, and engine from one of the '55s to this. Hmmmm.... Terry Terry where could I buy that kit? Thanks
Tom Setzer Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I will buy a few C300s as I have always like the car. I bought a C300 from a Doctor in my home town in 1969 that only had 31000 miles on it, for $250. It was a Great car with a Strong Hemi, that was a very smooth and reliable Driver, that was both comfortable and it had power everything, a Factory Airconditioner, that after I got recharged worked reliably for the Three years I owned the car. It was painted Chrysler Regal Gold and white. I will try to build a model of that car when I get my hands on one of these Kits. I bought the real one because my wife of less than a month fell in love with it when she saw it. I was going to teach her to drive it, but now 42 years later she still hasn't learned to drive. The Model will be for her once I get it built!
Olskoolrodder Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 If the Hornet kit is any indication of what we're getting for the money, count me in too! Tomthat's a cool back story, put a smile on my face. My wife of 19 years (we're bit younger than you...I can't say her age,but I'm 9 months younger at 38 ),and she's only been driving for 5 or so years. I told her for years she could do it,she didn't think she could, but she's a good driver now with +5 points (that's better than "clean" driving record, never even bee stopped at a road check),and a much more...sane driver with a much lighter right foo than I
38 Crush Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Does any know what wheels this kit is going to come with. Sure hope it's the wires! 38 Crush

RodneyBad Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 A good driving record just means that you've never been caught YET! LOL... We soo need a Like or Love it Button here..
Art Anderson Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Does any know what wheels this kit is going to come with. Sure hope it's the wires! 38 Crush I have test shots here, of the wire wheels, as well as the wheelcovers! As for the wires--let's just say if those spokes were hardened steel, they'd cut your finger as surely as a #11 blade! Beeeeyoooootifulllllllllll! Art

I hate you so much right now!!!!! is on the radio just now, do you remember the singer ?
38 Crush Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Art, the reason I'm hoping for the wires is because I want to more or less scratch build the "Eclipes" by Ray Farner and those wheels would sure help get it going ! 38 Crush
Art Anderson Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 oooh...that looks sweet. I find the looks of the '56 much nicer than '55 from behind...don't care for the tacked-on taillight treatment of the '55. Maybe Moeibus will do one if the '55 is successful. Actually, the only difference between the '55 C-300 and the '56 300-B was the dashboard! '55 had the selector for the Powerflite automatic transmission on the dashboard, '56 300B had the first of the Torqueflyte pushbutton consoles to the left of the steering wheel. Art Art.... I hate you so much right now!!!!! is on the radio just now, do you remember the singer ? Luc, is that an assination threat?
Danno Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Holding my breath ... waiting ... waiting ... aw, c'mon! Hurry UP!!!!
Harry P. Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Holding my breath ... waiting ... waiting ... aw, c'mon! Hurry UP!!!! At iHobby last month they had a body master on display... but Dave Metzner said it still needed work. So it's going to be a while yet...

Swifster Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 (edited) Makes you wonder when the '56 300B will come out? Edited November 28, 2011 by Swifster

Olskoolrodder Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 ARRrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.......big,vein in forehead popping out........getting anxious to see it on the shelves.....
Chuck Most Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Billy- had that very same idea in mind. Darn- might need to build mine as a wagon or something!
Swifster Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 If the engine in the Chrysler is as nice as the Hudson, everyone will need a case just for the Hemi's alone.
