Webb Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Built this one from the Monogram 427 street Cobra kit. Filled the cutouts for the side pipes and ran full length exhaust out the back. I had read that as many as half of all the 427 "street" Cobras actually had 428 Police Interceptor engines so I used an intake manifold, heads and exhaust manifolds from a GT500 Mustang and converted it to a 428. The wheels that came with the kit were wires, which NO big block Cobra came with. I doubt that wire wheels could handle the torque put out by a 427/428. I used wheels from a Lamborghini Miura kit just because I thought they looked good. Added seat belts, aluminum tube exhaust tips and a photo etch fan. Chris
