428 Cobra

Built this one from the Monogram 427 street Cobra kit. Filled the cutouts for the side pipes and ran full length exhaust out the back. I had read that as many as half of all the 427 "street" Cobras actually had 428 Police Interceptor engines so I used an intake manifold, heads and exhaust manifolds from a GT500 Mustang and converted it to a 428. The wheels that came with the kit were wires, which NO big block Cobra came with. I doubt that wire wheels could handle the torque put out by a 427/428. I used wheels from a Lamborghini Miura kit just because I thought they looked good. Added seat belts, aluminum tube exhaust tips and a photo etch fan.
