So I have noticed that just about every time I log back onto the Forum, someone has tried a different format! :o

If I had a vote, I would pick a darker setup so it is not so stark :D

Just my opinion, as if it matters.........

I know

You guys must be freaking out!!!!!

I kinda like this one, with the coffee cup on top

Everyone, you can go into your My Controls, and change the skin look, to see what they all look like

I am still uploading more skins, or if you find one you like online, let me know

I did a Google for "IPB Invision Skin 2.3"

Whereabouts is that Gregg? I've looked all over the "My Controls" page and don't see a button where you can change the skins. :D

Sorry, dumb mistake

I didn't activate it.

It's not in My Controls

It's at the bottom of every page

The skin now is Ambrose

It's next to the orange icon on the bottom left of pages

This is hands down the best Model Message board format out there. I like the new blog feature. this allows us to put up messages that are way off topic that might be only of interest to a few of us. the spell checker and the Text formating buttons help too. I think this will allow the forum to grow even faster than it is.

COFFEE....ahhhhhhhhhh

Now, can something be done with the 13 "pinned" posts at the top? Gotta scroll halfway down the page to get to new topics...

I had no idea what you were talking about, I had to find the pinned posts. When log on the main forum I hit "view new posts" and that's the page I see, and all I see are new posts. I never see the pinned posts unless I open a particular sub-forum to start a new thread.

I tried saving the "view new posts" as a bookmark, but it only works for X amount of time

I don't know what the pinned post means either

I see it on my first page of View New Posts.

Maybe Mikee can answer that?

I know, go look in the manuel for the answer......

"Pinned" threads seems to just be a new name for "sticky" threads, i.e. they always stay on top until a moderator unsticks them. The reason you don't see them must be that you're entering the forum by checking for new posts. If there are no new posts in the pinned threads, they simply won't show up.

I am kind of slow to catch on to some of the slick features like " view new posts" so I always have scrolled past the long line of stickies for stuff like GSL Hotel info, etc., much of which is obsolete. Old dogs can learn new tricks. ;)
