Pretty nice kit but tiny. I like it but would not build another one. Some of the parts are just to small for my old eyes. I had some trouble also with the 2 part front and rear nerf bars. Shown next to a Revell 49 Merc to show scale. Comments good or bad always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Very nice build, and I really appreciate you thinking of putting it with the Merc for scale. That track nose, the little V8-60 and the wheels / tires would be great for a period dry lakes car.

WOW, seeing it next to the Merc really shows just how small it really is. It looks good, I've been wanting to get one.

I keep hoping that Michaels gets this. I don't have a Hobby Lobby near by and I'd really like to use a coupon for it.

Turned out real nice. This is a fun kit, but like you it was hard on my old eyes and fat fingers.

Looks good to me ! I broke down and bought new glasses , so I can see them tiny parts now . It's the stiff joints in my fingers that don't work !

Anyway , I really like the black finish with gold lettering . And all the chrome looks good too . Are they as fragile as I hear they are ?

I didn't break any parts while building. I use nippers to cut the pieces off the trees. The parts are to scale so they are thin. As I have said before really only had a problem with the 2 part front and rear nerf bars. The rear was tough but the front was much worse. I had a heck of a time getting it lined up and stuck just where I wanted it. The one stupid error I made was to put the gold stripe on without taping the hood and nose together before doing the decal. I have the piece on the nose a little off center. It was stupid and I know better, Been building models for over 50 years and I still do stupid stuff like that.

It looks good to these old eyes. I think you ought to build the Offy one to go along side. A couple of tow vehicles to pull the trailers would be nice also. It's a neat little kit with lots of possibilities.
