moparfarmer Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Maybe I'd better not say anything but I will. Don't like the rear spoiler or wheel flares but what a nice model. Very clean and well done for the period. The paint is to die for. Sorry for the dislikes, don't take it as bad news. Your model looks just fine the way it is.

robertw Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I'm not a big fan of the fat fender look but I can admire this because of its clean build and your paint finish is spectacular. Well done.
Badluck 13 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 You hit the style from the era right on the head! Someone in my area has a Corvette that he found in a barn (!) that was customized that way (less the rear spoiler) back in the day. He brings it out to local shows from time to time, still riding on it's old, rock-hard, no-name extra-wide bias-ply raised white letter tires. Jim,this thing wouldn't be white with maroon and gold graphics would it????......as for the build,I love the look, remember all to well of those days, flares are dead on,reminds me of a '71 in my are when I was a kid that was done up like this(featured in Car Craft) and I got to do the poishing and waxing on that beauty,Eric the owner of her at the time would try to pay me but heck it was just a thrill to touch her and was sold to a guy in Pa.
bsoder Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Well I kinda like it...A LOT !!..love the color and awsome job on the flares B)
Pat Minarick Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 All I can say is...CORVETTE SUMMER woo hoo . It reminds me of the Corvette Summer car too! I think it would be cool to add the right year license plate in back. Looks really cool!!
62rebel Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 seventies flares are right on, but i'm thinking that the blacked out chrome and darkened taillights are more '80's... it looks killer, though. i can almost hear Montrose on the eight track.......
MichaelJ Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 Thanx for lookin guy's. I appreciate all the comment's, and advice... Michaelj...
