Ace-Garageguy Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 (edited) I just love seeing stuff like this. That old kit kinda reminds me of the Joaquin-Arnett Bean Bandit dragster. Edited June 22, 2012 by Ace-Garageguy
CemetaryAngel81 Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Looks like a very Kool project,Ill be watching this..
Skip Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Great start, I'll be following this one as well. Have you thought about using a torsion bar set up in front instead of the quarter eliptical springs? If you stick with the springs you might want to think about a smaller set up. The mock up makes the front end look pretty heavy. All in all I like the direction you are heading.
Bill Edman Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 i wanted the bigger springs for effect i did look at the torsion bar set up but that will be on the next rod i do
Bill Edman Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 (edited) got side tracked on other projects but back on this one full time with about three weeks or do to finish for this years kc show pics to come soon of the work i have done along with full updates on some minor changes Edited May 15, 2013 by Bill Edman
GerN Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) Love this! The whitewalls and painted steelies suit this car very well. Blackwalls and mags would push it back toward racer - these keep it more in the weird arena. Edited May 16, 2013 by GerN
