I buy and sell on E-Bay.My feedback is 100%.

He should refund the entire price to you and since it was his mistake,If he wants the kit back he pays postage.

If he does not do this, continue with your case with Paypal.

This is just my opinion.

I get very tired of people trying to sham other people. He should learn something with this transaction, but,I don't think he will.

Most sellers want to keep their good feedback score.I know I do.

Before you bid on an item, check the sellers feedback score and look at their feedback page to see what other people say.

This makes no sense whatsoever. I guess I will let you figure it out.

My mistake, I misread what you typed,I thought you were talking about shipping back the kit, never mind what I said.

I'd say counteroffer that he pays you $15 back. You never know, he might. Personally, I'd take the $10 bucks, call it a lesson learned, and post honest feedback (AFTER THE MONEY is back in your PayPal account) about what happened. He's asking you to LIE for 10 bucks. How much is your honesty worth to you?

I have over 900 ebay transactions, and EVERY problem I've ever had has been resolved. There haven't been many, by the way.

One more point....IF THE SELLER REFUSES to answer the claim, PayPal WILL refund your money WITHOUT sending the item back. Then they take it all out of his behind.

William, I was thinking about that, funny you brought it up, I am going to message him and see if he goes for it.

So my bad luck continues, I did get a full refund for the kit, the seller did want the kit back, ok no big deal, so I printed off some postage (cost me $5), scheduled a at home pickup with USPS, I put the kit by the front door, later this afternoon, I get an email saying they could not find it the package, so I am guessing someone stole it.

Have you gotten home to verify that the package is gone, hopefully you've just got a blind mailman.

I am home all day, I checked at around 11am, our mail comes around 10 am, the funny thing is I put it out last night before I went to bed, and it was there around 6am, the other half almost brought back in the house, but she saw that my name was not on it, so she left it. So it went missing between 6am-10am

Maybe the bad luck will transfer to whomever has the kit, its cursed.

I hope so, I bet once they opened the box and saw, in the trash it went, so now I am going to be out $25 over this, cause I am sure the seller is going to want the money for it.

Actually, if PayPal refunded your money in full, they view any obligation on your part to be complete. If PayPal requires a kit to be returned, there will be no refund until you've provided Proof of Shipping and delivery. Additionally, the Seller cannot leave negative or neutral feedback against the Buyer. Nothing requires further action on your part other than your own moral judgement.

Neglected to mention - if you printed out return postage by either eBay or the Post Office (pretty much anywhere legitimately affiliated with the Post Office), you can void the label and receive a refund; however, it takes a few days to go back into your account - strange, since they can deduct immediately . . .

It was my moral's , the seller asked for it back. I did not know I could void the label, I printed out on USPS site, I kind of want to wait tell the end of the week, just in case it did get picked up, it was schedule for delivery on thursday. How long do I have to be able to void it ?

SCORCHED EARTH!!!! I once bought two books from the same seller. i sent an e-mail asking if they would combine shipping. The answer was yes. Time goes by...I forgot about the books. About 2 1/2 months later I thought "where the bleep are the books I paid for???" It took numerous e-mails and phone calls to get them The hang-up was that Jim, the guy who ran the company, didn't want to combine shipping. When I finally got the books, I left negative feedback stating what happened. That jerk left retaliatory negative feedback for me. It wasn't the first time he had done this, either. He would get a negative that he earned, leave a neg for the buyer, then attempt to use arbitration to get both negatives removed (at the time, that was the only way to remove a negative at all.) That jerk was messing with buyers' feedback. I made a website called (sellers name)sucks.com. I photoshopped his logo into an unflattering parody and suggested cheaper alternative booksellers. I also had an audio clip from Blazing Saddles that played when the page opened. It was the foreman saying "Hold it, hold it, what the *&%@ is that *$!&???". For a while, my website was the #1 hit on a Google search for that seller's name. He even called to ask if I would take it down. HELL NO!!!!! It was up for 3 years. I let it close down after ebay changed their feedback policy. I wish I had thought to copyright his logo and company name. He never bothered to do that. I could have then sent him Cease and Desist letters, forcing him to change his name and logo after more than 50,000 transactions.

Why yes, I have heard people say "remind me never to piss you off".

10 days, I think, though some may be 7. This link is for USPS FAQ regarding refunds. Scroll down almost 1/3 of the page to 'Click-N-Ship.' that should cover where you printed from. There's also a link at the bottom of your receipt to 'Void The Label' if needed.

If you got delivery confirmation and still have your tracking slip you could track it yourself and see of it shows that it is in transit.

You must sure use an off-brand shipping service. Link to USPS FAQs, including voiding a shipping label, above. Click-N-Ship through USPS is up to 10 days after printing an unused label and eBay is 5 days.

Still, I have no doubt various services (as above) each have their own particular guidelines.
