oldscool Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I have kinda lost interest in modelling in the last year or so due to fatigue and job related stress but now have a new job that is much less stressful and pays better. I hope to get back into things and become more active on the forums like I used to be (and maybe be a little less grouchy). Maybe I can finish the six WIPs I have been neglecting. cobraman Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 For me, building has always been a stress relieving hobby. There were some builds however that did have the oppisite effect. : )
slusher Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 l have to agree model building relieving to me. Very peaceful. its was a good ldea you kept your unfinished builds. ....Slusher
Dr. Cranky Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Less stress + more money = BUILD. I like this formula, Jim.
Bluemiles22 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I recently came back to it too about a year ago and I'm glad I did. It definitely is a stress reliever. The only thing I did wrong was trying to take on too much at once wih aftermarket stuff. A lot of mistakes made and money spent lol. But that's how you learn. Just take it slow at first and it will be very rewarding.
crazyjim Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 And building models is so much more rewarding and enjoyable when they're SHINY :) . At least I think so.
