Fat Rat Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Does anyone know if there any companies that make these in resins? I'm mostly interested in towncars, myself. I always thought that would be an awesome lowrider kit.
dimaxion Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 TKM molds the Mark 6 . I think he stil may have the Mark 5 . Go to , bottom of page , click Model Car Links . All are listed in Alphabetical Order . He might have some Town Cars . Not for the faint of heart . Thanx ..
george 53 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Man, don't even BOTHER with THAT GARBAGE! IF he's the ONLY one who has Lincolns, you might as well say they AREN'T available!!!! STAY FAR AWAY from that JUNK!!!!!!
Rob Hall Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Other than the notorious TKM Marks, I haven't seen any stock '70s Lincolns listed by any resin casters. I'd love to see Modelhaus quality 1:25th scale resin kits of the Mark III, IV, V, and '70-79 Continental sedans... Edited July 30, 2012 by Rob Hall

Joker Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Thanks for the link Casey. The lowrider spoke rims just spoke to me too bad they sold out.. I bookmarked the link.
Casey Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Jevries is a member here, too, but I don't think he visits here very often. I originally found his blog via the layitlow forum, so maybe he's there more often?
Fat Rat Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 Hey, thanks for the help, guys. I really appreciate it.
charlie8575 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Especially for a slush-cast, that Mark is very nice. Personally, I'd like to see some of these in styrene. It might not be Tri-5 Chevy or '32 Ford market, but I think there would be enough of one between low-riders, customizers, rep-stock, etc. In the interim, I wouldn't rule out one of Jervis' offerings, though, especially if it can be built stock. Art Anderson Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 About 16-17 years ago, an acquaintance in France (whose name escapes me now!) sent me a color picture of a 1/24 scale plastic model (built and painted) of a 1974-46 era Lincoln Continental MkIV he'd found and restored. The story I got was that it was a kit produced by a French toy company that went under soon after, I've never been able to find any more information on that company, or the model kit.' Art

Casey Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 WOW! Now THAT'S a NICE lookin Lincoln! I wonder does it come with an interior an dash? Or how much it is. I don't think it's close to being finished yet, and is still "in the works".

montelsc Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 heres my lincoln from TKM not the greatest your better off waiting for the other one wish i would have known about this guy when i bought this
Repstock Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 This was considered for casting, but I'm not totally happy with it yet...
Ron Hamilton Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 As one who grew up with Dad's '72 and '74, you are very close with that '75/'76. Personally, I would work a little on the grille, and "A" pillars. Hit me off the board for an exact analysis. I am very familiar with the car, and yes I want one when it goes to casting.
Plasticfanatic Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 WOW..if you get it cast let me know...I want one...REALLY want one!!!!
