KENNEDYJR Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Wow that is amazing work. If that doesn't garner magazine coverage , I don't know what will. Well done.
Peter Lombardo Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Hey guys, thank you very much! I really appreciate the very kind words, again. I really did enjoy this build because it incorporated many different ideas and new challenges for me….homemade lambo hinges, sliding rear doors, ala minivan, tiny front and rear struts, two tone paint with a computer designed tribal stripe with a shadow stripe under it and four working doors. Plus it completed my 5 car series of Chrysler 300’s. Thanks again! P.S. I can’t wait to post the pictures of my current and nearing completion build that is on my workbench. I don’t want to post anything until it is done…but I really love how this one is working out…really good design, great paint scheme and a surprise feature that I think will impress you guys…I know I am setting the bar very high on this one, but I am lovin’ how this one is coming together.
MikeMc Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 The Design, Concept, and Execution are FLAWLESS!!!!!!! The paint and stripe work great!!! that said IMHO the grill is too tall needs a section or ??? It just looks toooooo big, for a slammed kustom..... butttttttt thats just me
VictorSmalls Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Amazing work you have put in on this car. What a great overall final product.
kitbash1 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Wow!!!! You've given me an idea on how to have opening doors on my Sauber C9 Group C racer. I bow to your genius sir.
slusher Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Beautiful model. Excellent paint and perfect stance
mademan Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 since the thread was brought back , I was wondering if the Magnum coupe ever made it past the drawing stages? neat concept
Danno Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 How did I miss this one on it's first tour? Glad it's making an encore. Great build, Peter! Very innovative door operating mechanisms. Bravo!
bobthehobbyguy Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 This is a great tutorial. Who would think that flossing aids can be usedcthis way.
Peter Lombardo Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 since the thread was brought back , I was wondering if the Magnum coupe ever made it past the drawing stages? neat concept Yes, it was finished back in 2007......here are a few shots..............thanks for asking....I liked how the roof worked on it, kind od a throw back to the late 60's Charger look.
Chuck Most Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Love both of them! Odd how this thread resurfaced just now, as I am currently working on two Dodge Magnum conversions of my own- a 2-door sedan delivery and a ute! Gotta ask- is that crew cab Cadillac pickup one of yours, too?
Baugher Garage Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I always KNEW the Magnum would look so much better with a 300 front clip! Boy was I right! That looks fantastic!
