John Teresi Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 HOK black? That's not enamel is it? Oh, the clear coat was an enamel then? Jim.......H.O.K. black urethane and R.M. 5800 clear urethane is what I use ......then I Alclad........thanks.
crazyjim Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I don't mean to be a pain, John. Is urethane considered an enamel?
Silver Foxx Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Wow - what an amazing build, I like the all the old Willys models but this one is awesome.
John Teresi Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 I don't mean to be a pain, John. Is urethane considered an enamel? Jim......I am not absolutely sure?.....but,I have no reaction when I use my urethane clear over enamel......I would ask Don Yost that question.......thanks.
Harry P. Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I think one of the cool things about your work is that you're not limiting yourself to just one type of subject. Some of the big-name builders limit themselves to one particular subject, but not you. Old Bentleys, funny cars, 3-wheel show bikes, trucks, whatever!

gasser59 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 The coolness factor on this one is off the charts John. Having watched this one come together, I am still amazed that its a scale model. I'm in awe.

MachinistMark Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 the alclad work is outstanding.. but that trunk fit seems a little off to me?
FASTBACK340 Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 What would be greatly appreciated would be a tutorial on how & what you use to photograph. Some pictures the depth of field makes the model appear full size. Beautiful model, no doubt, but the pictures....wow!
Austin T Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 You are a true master of Alclad,I mess it up every time I think about it
Pat Minarick Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Very nice ! I really like how it doesn't look all the same, some parts look chrome ,some looks polished.
Dr. Cranky Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 What a great build, and all the details really pay off in the eye candy department. WOW.
Tom Setzer Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 As I said on the other thread, everything about this build has impressed me!!
