streetmachine11 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 the checkerborad roof and stripes are painted on. comments welcome and thanks for looking
sports850 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Nice clean build Jason , love the stripes and checks in the same colour , it blends together nicely . The only suggestion I could make would be to snip off the sliding window catches since you've taken the windows out (but that's only because I'm a rivet counter with mini's , it won't matter to anybody else )
jbwelda Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 tamiya? very nice job on that roof, thats a lot of tedious masking to do unless i dont get how its done.

Dyno Davo Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Very cool rendition of this model. Super neat build, well done.
rmvw guy Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Nice job on the masking and painting! The engine is always a surprise to me on the Mini, I always expect to see two little hamsters going around in a wheel. All kidding aside, the engine looks great!
peter31a Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Very cool paint job and nice detailing! Job well done, sir.
Yahshu Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Very nice build, well done. Used to own a 1:1, drove like a go cart, awesome fun.
Volvoman Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Very nice work on your mini jason, the paintwork is excellent and the stripes and checkers make it stand out from others.
Helix Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 How cool and ironic is that, reminds me of a diecast 1/43 I have Check this one
streetmachine11 Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 How cool and ironic is that, reminds me of a diecast 1/43 I have Check this one ray, that is ironic! way cool though. and here i was thinking i never seen a blue mini. wild.
CorvairJim Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I may be a B-I-G guy (6'3", 275#), but I've always liked small cars. They don't call me "Corvair Jim" for notyhing, you know. I'm a fan of the Mini because they're "Smaller Than Small", but I stil fit in them just fine. I got a couple of Tamaya Minis in a swap a few months ago. This model might be the kick in the pants I need to actually get going on one of them... Great Job!
