Bricksonwheels Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) It has been a while since I build a 1:22 scaled truck in Lego, and it has been even longer since I build a classic American cabover truck. The Kenworth is a K100E, with a tricked out 8V92 Detroit Diesel. The colors are inspired by the rig of Northrop Enterprises, one of the rare true custom K100's running. The truck has working doors, tiltable cab and color trimmed interior. Many parts are chromed with 'plating on plastics' technology (no paint). The trailer is a Walker, in traditional setup. The body consists of Lego Technic panels which are chromed the same way. And a 'ghostview' made in Photoshop to show the engine and fittings: Edited August 9, 2012 by Bricksonwheels
pete3522 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 pretty neat hard to believe its built out of legos
Jim B Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 That's amazing! I like your "ghost cab" shot to see the engine. Very cool.
chuckyr Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) Nice! With the dual air intakes it must be a west coast twin turbo. California does produce more milk than any state. Edited August 9, 2012 by chuckyr
