Harry P. Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Looks like a factory stock build (aside from the paint color), so why the custom taillights? Not a slam, just wondering what your reason is. BTW... that's a good color for a "bug!"
Dave Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 I almost always build box stock, so I wanted to try something simple custom wise, tail lights seemd like some easy baby steps to take. Who knows, maybe next time I'll chop something or flare fender!
rmvw guy Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Nice job! I like the color, what is it? I like the colors on the engine parts also.

Sam Cates Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Excellent! great job on this one, but why is there two voltage regulators?
krazyglu Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Come on guys you have to read the post after the pictures. He wanted to try something different ,but simple....the color is Tamiya light green pearl.
Dave Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 Nice job! I like the color, what is it? I like the colors on the engine parts also. Engine colors were just some bottle paints....couple differeent blacks and metallics, FloQuil mostly
wgflatliner Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I think it looks good. Color is nice, and nice detail.
Guest Johnny Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Can't go wrong with an old Beetle! Really nice job on it! Glad you didn't gussy it up too much as it takes away from the charm of the little car. Now a Baja Bug is another story!!!
