Looks like a factory stock build (aside from the paint color), so why the custom taillights? Not a slam, just wondering what your reason is.

BTW... that's a good color for a "bug!" :D

I almost always build box stock, so I wanted to try something simple custom wise, tail lights seemd like some easy baby steps to take. Who knows, maybe next time I'll chop something or flare fender!

Just don't try chopping the top on a VW Beetle... that's really hard to do. ;)

Come on guys you have to read the post after the pictures. He wanted to try something different ,but simple....the color is Tamiya light green pearl.

Nice job! I like the color, what is it? I like the colors on the engine parts also.

Engine colors were just some bottle paints....couple differeent blacks and metallics, FloQuil mostly

Can't go wrong with an old Beetle!

Really nice job on it! Glad you didn't gussy it up too much as it takes away from the charm of the little car. :)

Now a Baja Bug is another story!!! B)

Nice. i like it the tail lights look almost like something the might of had. Oh and whered your hood/trunk thing go?
