ok i got the trunk lid opened up with the back of a #11 blade

here is just about where it will be positioned when finished......im just gluing it the right place, its acually not going to function......

Jason, heres that masking fluid in action........

you just apply it with a brush to what you wanna mask......

then just let it dry completely, and shoot the paint on you want..... ( that will be comin)

I had some of that clear red tail light repair tape here, so i cut it into 2" scale strips, and laid it over the left taillight............here what i came up with...

it just needs some dull coat and dirt now.

Jason, here is the tail light with that liquid masker removed with a toothpick.........it still needs cleaned up a little bit, but you get the idea.

Excuse me but are'nt you suposed to be working on your model ? : )

im shot for tonight Ray, i busted my butt doin yardwork tonight, gettin sleepy now....and thats a good thing because i NEVER sleep, my insomnia is just insane sometimes ill go 3 days and not sleep, just sit here like a zombie. so when im tired i take advantage of it....

ill be back at it in the morning though!

got the rear bumper weathered a bit, i didnt wanna go too far, a little weathering on chrome goes a long way.......plus most trim is stainless steel...but bumpers arent.

its more dirt than anything....

Bryan, that is some really cool stuff. I'm gonna have to look for it next time im in micheals. Thanks for the tutorial, you do some clean work.
