iBorg Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I know there's a way to glue the Monogram rear slicks to "mold" the two parts together. Suggestions?
Ben Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 They make adhesives specifically for vinyl. I seem to remember that the glue in a water bed repair kit would work really well for gluing vinyl tires.
oldscool Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 If you are meaning the slicks with the molded in wrinkles then Testors liquid cement will work . I used it on my Ice T slicks and then sanded the seam away.
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 The glue in the old-style CV joint boot kits will work too.

I always thought the glue smelled like the glue for repairing bicycle tubes. Im gonna go see if i still have a patch kit!

I always thought the patch kit glue smelled like PVC pipe glue, has the same cold feel to it too.
