Art Laski Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Thanks guys, but the model gods are cursing me a bit. I've taken a couple steps back, but I'll have an update soon. I do appreciate your interest, my friends!
rustybill1960 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I hope that the modeling gods have been appeased! For "ALL" our sakes, this is one build that i would not wish them to curse at all! I would hope this build to be a blessing 10 fold! Mostly because it's a Willys!! I just love those Willys!! Thank You for sharing with Us here and I hope all is better soon!! Later Russ
Art Laski Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 Thanks, Russ! We're getting back on track here. I got the wheels and tires completed. I wanted the wheels to reflect the Dow coating that the new Halibrand wheels would have on them when they roll out of the factory. I used a mixture of Testors Brass and Aluminum Plate Metalizers to get the look I wanted. I also added some wingnuts from a Revell Cobra kit.
Art Laski Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 I also got the front suspension in. Thanks for looking!
gasser59 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Stellar update Art. Love those wheels. That color looks spot on.
