Hey Harry, how about this idea?

Have you thought of opening a new section on the forum about interviewing or getting to know members here in the forum, kind of a questionare about the modeler from their personal life all the way to the modeling life? I have seen this done in various other forums and looks like fun. There is certainly some talented individuals in here who I would love to get to know better using this format. What do you and others think about the idea? Which guys in here you would like to know more about?

I think it's a great idea, I have seen it done in other places too. Guys like John Teresi, Bob Downie and even Harry himself come to mind.

I've never thought of it before. Sounds like it might be a neat feature, probably would fit best in the "Community" section. Maybe call it "Getting to Know You" or "Builder Bios" or something like that.

I kind of like it. Let me see what Gregg thinks.

I hate pinned topics. Nobody pays any attention to them. I'd rather have this as a subsection in the "Community" area.

i think it is a great idea, and a subsection in "community" gets my vote. There are so many interesting builders on here i'd love to learn more about.

If you do it, it really has to work like journalism with a prepared list of questions that are easy to respond to. This would be a good task for our members, to provide the questions they want to know about.

Yes, we would need a prepared set of questions, same questions for everyone. I agree it would be very interesting, but of course it would all be strictly voluntary. So some people might not want to respond. But that's ok, I think plenty of them would want to take part.

I think it would be up to the individual member to answer the questionnaire. I mean, we put out the questions, and whoever wants to answer them can do that. But it's all up to each individual member whether or not to participate. We wouldn't be interviewing anyone, we'd just put out the questions and see who answers.

This is an excellent idea for a new section . Keeping it voluntary and with a set list of questions is a must .

Along with the obvious modeling questions , a short biography would be interesting too . Although since most members won't even post their age it may not be answered much .
