Thatswhatshesaid Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 i know the paystar mixer was redone in 06 because i got 3 of them It was rereleased in 2002.
ranma Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Jim B you sir are correct as the dies were changed to the transtar II ( the first issues of the Tranny II had the same rear drive suspension that was in the 4070 a kit. And ertl also Did the same to the 4270(4200) except they did change the rear drive suspension on that kit. I doubt that Round 2 will spend the capital to change the molds back.
ranma Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 As one can see here the first Transtar II used the rear drive suspension from the Transtar 4070 A kit.
Brinx Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I would LOVE to see more of the of the MPC/Ertl kits. I especially would love to see the vocational series IH's. As a kid, those kits just seemed to together so easily. I'd also be onboard for the General/Bison.
Force Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 The Transtar II Eagle had two different rear suspensions but both had the same 8017 kit number, first it had an Air Ride and later it got a Walking Beam...I don't know why they changed tho'.
tbill Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 i'd like to see everything they have a mold for re-issued I gotta think sales have been good for all the other rig kits that that they have re-issued, or they wouldn't keep trickling them out. I say keep them coming. mold it, and they will buy.........
