maysula Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Hi This Tamiya Lola I did a few years ago, It´s ment to be the Bonnier B.O.A.C 500 car from -68. There are some minor differences from the real car but I can live with that. Jo himself is made of different Tamiya drivers, the head comes from the Matra kit. The decals is from the spare box and the #2 decals is made by a modelling friend in the US ( Thanks Stu ! ) Detailed with hoses, wires and connectors. More later Thomas
Matt Bacon Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 That is sooooo cool... I love it. Brilliant build of a great kit, and the figure is the icing on the cake. I'd really like that car on my shelf! bestest, M.
Rob Hall Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Beautiful build. I like your detailed Jo Bo figure w/ his goatee...

deja-view Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 That yellow really pops. What did you use to keep the blue from bleeding through?
maysula Posted September 28, 2012 Author Posted September 28, 2012 That yellow really pops. What did you use to keep the blue from bleeding through? Hi I used an ordinary automotive primer , don´t remember the brand. The yellow is Humbrol 69 that I got in a spraycan. Thomas
stump Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Hey Thomas, sorry I missed this earlier mate. That is a GREAT build up of a sweet looking car. Nice to see it wearing different livery to what is the norm. The driver is a neat touch.
