mrmike Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 This is my '56 F100 built as a daily driver with a 426 Hemi/4-speed combo, tilt steering wheel, '06 Mustang GT wheels and tires. Painted with Tamiya TS-19 Metallic Blue paint.
beeRS Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Love this pick up...and with the Hemi - it's even better! What was your kit source for the Hemi?
george 53 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Looks like any ol 56 pickup till you popped that hood! NOW you REALLY cookin!!!
TooOld Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Very nice job on your '56 ! I guess I'm in the minority here when I say I'd prefer to see a big block Ford in it .
slusher Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Nice build Mike. Perfect color. Nice touch on the hemi...
Sixties Sam Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Looks great! Good color choice, and well done! Sam
bsoder Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 And a fun daily it would be!...till ya had to put gas in it :P
mrmike Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Thanks Brian! Putting gas into a Hemi should be of no real consequence if you really enjoy driving one! Love this pick up...and with the Hemi - it's even better! What was your kit source for the Hemi? The Hemi is a Revell item and came from one of several Revell 1/25 scale Mopar kits that I have built and kitbashed over the years. It had been a resident of my parts box for a while. Thanks for asking.
