MachinistMark Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 "And the gods saw that the light was good" And then I said I can finally freakin see!
Harry P. Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Are you saying you never realized that they made fluorescent shop lights?
mikemodeler Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 It's a Canadian thing Harry, you wouldn't understand!
Harry P. Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 It's a Canadian thing Harry, you wouldn't understand! So explain it. I got back bacon when it was explained to me!
MachinistMark Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 No. I've realized it. Just always had better things to spend my money on you know things like bills or a mortgage....
Harry P. Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 How is light a luxury when building models? And isn't building models itself a luxury? I mean, we don't need to build models to survive.
cobraman Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Now you can see how messy your bench is ! : )
niteowl7710 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Well Harry remember it's daylight 24 hours a day up there 6 months of the year or something...no need for shop lights then
martinfan5 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Thats a brite idea to get some shop lights
JunkPile Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Model building is alot more fun when you can "really" see what you're doing. Not to mention being able to fix things (now that you can see) before its too late. Another step towards building better models.
Ju Ju Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 very enlightening topic i was born with no arms and build models with my feet if i had dim light i could cut my toes with the xactoe knife
MachinistMark Posted October 17, 2012 Author Posted October 17, 2012 Yeah beats the heck outta the single 60 watter I had before.
