Actually, the hood decals are just the center part and the thin lines on both edges. But for the rest (the whole black part), i simply painted it using only masking tape and a spray can. Here is the hood without the decals, leaving only the painted part.

Excellent build on your Duster super detail on the engine. I used the same colors on my Duster but I went with the 340 paint and decal

I've built two (340 decal hood version) and they were a pure joy to work on. I do plan to do the strobe hood version but for the meanwhile I'll enjoy yours! Fantastic engine detail!
