I finished this one for a little less than week ago. It's built from AMT Impala kit, which is great quality over all. One of the best ones from AMT, I guess. The plan was to build Factory Stock car, as it came from the factory.

Engine is Chevy Big Block 427 and the orange parts are painted with spray can. I've rarely spraypainted engines, but decided to try it with this. All other parts are painted by brush. It turned out okay, too. All parts are painted pretty much factory stock colors and I added some extra details, too.

Interior is painted by brush and the color is from Revell Enamels. I added the seat belts with GM Belt buckles to front seats. The center console and dashboard are painted just like 1:1 car parts.

The chassis is painted by spray cans too, but all axles and other smaller parts are brush painted, again. I added some extra details there too. The kit's tires were way too small, more like Lowrider size so I installed Monogram tires for this one. I had to do little modifications to get wheels fit too. Wheels are painted just like rear Rallye Wheels are.

Body is painted by spray can too and cleared, polished and foiled of course. Only problem was when I tried to install completed body to completed chassis, it didn't fit at all. But with bottle of super glue, I managed to get it fit somehow.

Overall the kit is very good quality, even if the body doesn't fit perfectly and tires are too small. Worth buying and building.

Opinions welcomed, Good or Bad ;) !

Thanks for the Great comments! They're really appreciated!

This was very fun build over all, and the car is very nice in 1:1 world, too. '68 Impala would be even better, but it's a shame that there are no new kits from that one, older kits are worth a lot of money. This build was hard to get look right in the pictures. The paint looked like satin in some pictures, some were blurry and sometimes the car was light blue and so on. Luckily I managed to get these pictures right.

Thanks for the comments again!
