Custom Mike Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Great work so far jay, this is one sweet kit. ain't it? the only problem I've had so far has been the window fit on the windshield and rear side windows. A bit of careful sanding gets 'em in there though!
jaymichaelsdesigns Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 Thanks guys nope no probelms with this kit yet
slusher Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Thats looking great, love the orange you used...
crazyrichard Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 looking great , the color looks awsome on there !!
jaymichaelsdesigns Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 Rear End : I scratch built this rear end using a NASCAR rear end and 1/8th tubing from Evergreen Front End: I wanted a highly detailed front end so i used a number 76 bit to drill out the leaf spring bolts and used copper rod to look like leaf bolts you can see it if you look closely. Frame: The frame was painted with International orange from Model Master the silver paint is Tamiya Acrylic chrome silver the lower front valance and the rear bumper brackets were removed to be replaced with a roll pan and a custom lower valance.
