Built this one well over a year ago....Had fun building it...Lots of little things had to be worked out, but it turned out ok, I think...Just wanted to see a modern version of this would look like...And this is what I came up with...

I am kind of surprised how well it looks behind the Volvo, with the scale difference's

Actually, the trailer is scratchbuilt...I used a few of the interior components from the AMT model....I modified them to fit a more modern version of the trailer....The AMT version is quite dated, so I made my own 1/24 scale version... :)

Very nice rig, the paint is great, your trailer is top notch man, good work! Too bad those Volvos are curbside, but they do look good once built.

I Dont mean to break some bad news but.......

That volvo would never match the trailer!...Your probably asking what im talking about?

see....that volvo was never made prior to (correct me guys if im wrong) about 95'ish!...the trailer ...notice the 88' year decal on it!....88' and 89' ...that truck didnt exist yet in 1:1 scale!....Not saying its wrong but its a good build just kind of odd combination!...not exactly sure what that team used though to pull that trailer then!...?...Im trying to figure it out...some people used ramp trucks still back then...while others like i found the 33 skoal bandit rig ....again awsome build but just a miss match of years!

Sean, I don't see that decal saying that the trailer was from that era, I see it saying that in 1988 Bill was the Winston Cup Champion. I'm not sure they even had those style trailers in 88', much less the truck. Those split axle, smaller wheel units are newer I do believe.
