mikemodeler Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Yes, a very happy birthday to the Marines! My daughter is in a Marine Corps JROTC unit in High School and this morning they are marching in the Veterans Day Parade in Charlotte, much like her older brother did for 4 years before her! Semper Fi and a big thank you to all veterans this weekend!

Art Anderson Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 My favorite uncle when I was a kid growing up was a Marine in WW-II. So, Uncle Charlie, this is a shout out to you--93 yrs young and still going! Thank you for your service, and the fact that you (and your buddies) did what you did for then-little kids like me! Art
blunc Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Thanks for the reminder of another birthday for one of the greatest Corps on the planet. Semper Fi. You can take a man out of the Marines but you can't take the Marines out of a man. Combat eng. 1976-1982
