Here's a few more shots. Still gotta put a couple more coats on the interior then hit the seats with some semi-gloss to tone down the shine and hopefully make it look more like leather. Next on the to do list is get the engine built. Any suggestions would be great. I'm hoping to learn from you all. :)

Bart, I'm actually using the 454 from the '70 Chevelle parts car. I had thought the same thing, lol. It definitely needs a big block. :D

Just to give ya an idea of what it'll look like with the wheels. Should I leave them chrome or paint the spokes to match the grill and headlight surrounds. Thanks, I appreciate the input. Geno.

Finally got the dash finished other than a final polishing. I printed out my own white gauge cluster and used .005 sheet styrene as the gauge glass, I also installed an ignition using one of the photo-etched door locks from Model Car Garage fitted with a key on an official Chevy keyring, lol. :D

Thanks Mike. I'd built Quicksilver years ago and hated that I'd ever gotten ride of it. And since it's such a hard kit to find now, this is kinda living my youth again building this one. B):D

Thanks all for the kind words. I wish I had half the talent as you all do.

you do!! there are people saying the same thing about your build right now. doesn't matter whether you turn a complete motor out of aluminum or just starting out. it looks great!! we are our worst critics!!!
