It is made by a company called YODEL.They are from the 1980's , I think, They came in 5 versions 2 different Fury's and 3 Different Monaco's

How's the details and quality of the kit, compared to say MPC/REVELL?

Here is the series of kits, I'm missing 1 of the older versions on the bottom of the stack and one on the top,The CHP is the one I'm missing for the smaller boxes, And the Los Angeles City Police in the older ones on the bottom .models8.jpg

They are your typical almost toy like kits from the Japanese companys from that era, The Fury grill and taillights will fit into the AMT/MPC Monaco bodys with little effort, You just have to make the body fit the grill. Very easy to do. I just buy these kits for my Monaco Collection I have, Plus the art work on the newer boxes are great.

If I can get someone to do it,I'll send it to them, I'll contact a few people , And see what I can come up with, I don't know how to do it myself.

I got a few of these at Hobby Lobby in the bracelet section, seem to be the proper size for 1:24.

I got this in the mail today, A Mint 1971-73 MPC Dodge van grill to make my 74 One of those years,I'll probably make it a 1973 as thats the year I was born, The 74 Grill will go into my Street Connection 78 to make it the Tradesman ,Not the Sportsman ,The only difference in the grills is the Tradesman looks like the basic 74-78 style, The Sportsman has a square medallion in the center. The final cost for the grill was $3.99 with shipping off of e-bay, Heres some photos .73van4.jpg73van3.jpg73van2.jpg73van.jpg

Now you just need to master some clear and amber parking light lenses for use with both of those grilles. :)

At one time I had both a '71 and '77, both wearing the early aluminum grilles:

I picked up a 1/43 AMT '68 Camaro and '69 Chevelle on eBay, which arrived today and I promptly disassembled and washed:

...and a 1/16 scale Tootsietoy Ford Explorer 2-door, from which I robbed these Keystone Rogue-like mag wheels:

nick i got 2 of those 75 chevelle kits and well there not very good, if u want to make it look good, sit on all 4 tires and fit well it will take some hard work

Adam have you ever known me to not work hard or build box stock, this car isn't even going to mildly resemble the box when I'm done, but that's a project for later right now I already have too many. :)

It was more of a charcoal metallic color. Here's a better pic:

I think this grille would be the perfect candidate for a photoetched piece, since the 1:1 grille is polished and annodized aluminum, too.

There's a hobby shop here that marks down some kits about 40% every January so this past week I've picked up the Tamiya Ferrrari FXX,the revised version of the Tamiya Lotus 99T,a Tamiya Carina ED Autopista and a Fujimi Mini Cooper.

I won these at our once a year auction for Moonlight Modelers. 1/16 Petty Nascar and 2 - 1/43 scale rally cars. I want to try my hand at some different scales. The only thing I wanted and did not get was a Pikes Peak shirt to go with a hat I got from our club prez a little while back. Oh well I'm happy B) Here is a pic of the meeting too for Nifty Fifties.

Went to a local thrift store and bought a AMT Mack R685ST truck, 18 bottles of older Testors paint, another AMT 1958 Chevrolet Impala and a small box of parts. All of it was 9.99, which was fine with me.
