I don't know much about it, other than it's resin, and appears to be based off a promo chassis/body with a vacuum formed window unit and an interior cast from a hand-built master. I know Modelhaus casts a '50 Nash, but I'm not sure that's what this one is.

This has been my haul from the past couple of weeks, the diecast cars were yesterday for 3 to 4 bucks apiece. The Ford racing is my start to get the rear axle assembly rebuilt. 3.73 gear ratio, Next is my Ford racing Posi-Trac

Tomi, this must be the day for Ramblers. I got both of these for $30 at a flea market today. Not a run away steal but a dang good price on two kits I haven't seen locally for years. No shipping.

Nice score Mike!

Well, I'd be more than happy if I could score that Rambler for that price! I paid 63 bucks for mine with shipping and that was cheap imo

Mike,

I worked on one of that planes successors........the E-2C Hawkeye for the Navy. The S2 was turned into an E2-A by adding the radar dish to its' back, and later completely redesigned by Grumman into the E2-B platform. Then, as now, it was updated to the E2-C variants......with Grumman now having two flying prototypes of the E2-D. The S3 sub-hunter still looks close to this chassis today, but with the addition of TF34 jet engines in place of the radials.

Cool Score!

Got this strange little gem in a trade with Dave 'Double D'

If you've seen any of JB Welda's build from this kit, I think you might know what lies ahead for it.

where do you guys find these wheel sets? Also how much do you pay?

I find them on Ebay for as cheap as I can get them.

I also take shipping into account..

I bought these kits today. The Johan Plymouth was painted only on the body, the rest is still on the trees. One of the Hemi under glass kits was built, but fairly clean. The rest of the kits were all sealed inside. And I bought the newest issue of MCM at HTU. It was a good day for me.IMG_20110823_014953.jpg

Where the heck did you find a place to layaway kits? Talk about convenience at the holidays!
