Mudpit602 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I got this kit for free from one of the guys I work with. He said his girlfriend got this for him. He stated on the it and he said he was drunk when he was working on it. So I though it funny because he is really funny when he is done for. He painted with some hobby paints. Thats not a problem I can fix it.
Nick Winter Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 good score on the Johan Olds Cutlass! the '76 Nova kit by the way, builds a tubbed racecar with a big-block Chevy, no option for stock I know Dave, I bought it motly for parts and nostalgic reasons, it was one of the first kits I built and was the first model kit my grandfather ever bought me. BTW the Ford police car is the original issue.
RodneyBad Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) If I haven't said it B-4. A big Thank You goes out to El Destructo Inc for finding the Tamiya Toyota Corolla FX-GT I have been looking for.. Honestly I don't know what Direction I'm gonna go with it tho. I do like the white walls tho.. Edited October 27, 2010 by Zukiholic
crazyjim Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Which direction to go would be a problem for me too since the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
Greg Cullinan Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) Stopped home while working and this was on my porch. Pretty sweet too,Unbuilt and the best part is the glass canopy is clean and clear. Edited October 28, 2010 by Greg Cullinan
Greg Cullinan Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Dukefan, nice haul. Modelexpress has some nice vintage models lately. Well always.
RodneyBad Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Which direction to go would be a problem for me too since the steering wheel is on the wrong side. Not soo true, it has a LHD and RHD dash and so does my (just got today)Fujimi Honda Civic SiR II
niteowl7710 Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Found this at Wal*Mart today for $9.99...was looking for a Diplomat, but this will suffice. Haven't taken it apart to see how much work it needs yet...
crazyjim Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Do all the Japanese kits come with LHD & RHD dashboard options? There are some interesting kits out there but I want them in LHD. The pics show RHD and I can't find kit details anywhere.

Nova-ss Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 hi All, This is what came today.I've wanted this model for awhile now.I run across the right OP to pick it up.Thanks,Chris
Mr. Show Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) Probably ordinary to most, but I've been looking for this stuff for a while. It's the gentler one that can be used on flexible and rigid plastics. This is the only can I've seen within 50 miles, and of course it was the only one on the shelf. I tested it out on a piece and it was so smooth after 3 light coats I wasn't sure if I should sand it. It puts Dupli-Color to shame. Of course it was $8.50 compared to Dupli-Color's $4.99 but it's definitely worth it. I just hope I can find some more. Edited October 28, 2010 by Mr. Show
Chuck Most Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Just got the new MCM, and the AMT Enterprize reissue!

slant6 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 A couple days ago, I went by my dads house looking for a 1/8th scale (I think) Camaro model that I started a long time ago and never finished. I didn't find it, but I did find some a lot of other stuff. First off, a buttload of parts, and semi complete builds (not cause I didnt finish them, because theyve been in the basement for 15 years). I know its a crappy picture, but if you see something you want send me an email, Im sure I can probably part with it, since now I have a huge parts box Next a couple of unfinished kits. A kit that my uncle bought before he died and never started, the box is crunched, but the kit looks to be fine. Lastly, 2 kits that my Dad has had for a long time, and he now wants me to build. Both of cars he used to own, so Im going to build them like his 1:1's and give them back. Ive been wanting to do an X-19 for a long time. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk265/slant6225/What%20did%20you%20get%20today%2010-30/IMG_6400.jpg[/img

Railfreak78 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I picked up these shelves this last week. They are kinda dumb but will serve the purpose of help with cleaning up my bench area. Can't beat free
Mudpit602 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Brian had an idea today so I hooked this up in the Hobby room so we can watch the race on Sundays and still get to work on projects.
