Got an extra Jo-Han '64 Polara ht last week, looks like this week I should receive the Revell '64 Corvette GS (my preorder has shipped) a couple Mobieus Chryslers, and the AMT '65 Chevelle wagon reissue...

Got the AMT Tall T, and MPC Fire Truck custom, and a Mobeus Huson (FINALLY!! ). Got a real steal on the Hudson, $10.98! Also picked up the Contest Issue and some G scale railroad stuff for my gas station diorama.

I made my first eBay purchase in over three years last week and both kits arrived today. The 63 Oldsmobile is a good rebuilder and the Pinto is a complete hatchback with a wagon body.

Got 2 '55 300's yesterday from Spotlight. Very nice kit. Body looks great - mold lines almost invisible compared to the Hudsons. Packed a bit tight in the box and can see some issues with how the bumpers are packaged that may cause some scuffed chrome though. Very much like the copy of original sales literature included with it.

Stopped at the LHS last night. Picked up a Revell Corvette Grand Sport since my order from Model Roundup is marked as 'Backordered'. Was tempted by the stack of 1/2 dozen '55 Chrysler 300s and '65 Chevelle wagons on the counter, but am waiting on my orders of 2 Chryslers and 1 Chevelle from Model Roundup and Model Express, should have those later this week. Also got emails today that my HLJ Lambo Aventador order and my Missing Link Resin '78 LTD order shipped today.....

Got a new-to-me/old PC desk,a bit larger and better organisation capabilities...sorry...what I got today was a new model bench, and my son will inherit my old one. No pics...it wouldn't fit the van, have to go back tomorrow with the trailer to get it :D

We're at page 243 of this thread, and this forum has a really terrible search engine that makes it nearly impossible to find out what's going on here. Is there a way to start over and make this thread easier to follow? Maybe "What did you get today, part 10?"

My order from Model Express with the Chrysler 300, GS plus a couple of other kits should arrive next week but today I got a package of stuff from Strada with a bunch of those little p/e goodies that my LHS would never think of carrying. Unfortunately my airbrush went kaput yesterday so I'll be taking a holiday from modelling till I get into the city to buy a new one.

I cant see the point really to close this thread just to start another one, yes its getting long, but as long as its not causing bandwith issues.

not really anything to 'find' i dont think. We just mention what kits/supplies/goodies we got on a particular day. by definition it will be a random mash-up of whom knows what.

Mailman just dropped off a couple packages..one from Model Roundup and one from Model Express...2 of the '55 Chryslers (love the box art and instructions), the AMT '65 Chevelle reissue, and some Pegasus wheels & tires & brakes that I plan to use on the reissue Revell Caddy custom Coupe de Ville..

Rob, is their a release date already for the caddy kit?, or you just planning ahead?

Planning ahead. Model Roundup lists it for May, so I figure it will be at the LHS by the end of this month...I got one of the first releases years ago to do lowrider style w/ Pegasus gold wheels, this one I'm thinking Pro Touring style w/ an LS v8 (got the engine from an '02 Camaro Z28 to use).

Thanks Rob, I had not seen a release date yet, I will have go on model round up more often, is the caddy kit curbside?

No, it has an engine..the kit builds up very similar to the Revell '91 Caprice taxi/'95 Impala SS kits if you are familiar w/ those..

Revell's website has it listed as a new release for this month, which usually means it will show up last week of the month at the priority hobby shops and the first week of the following month everywhere else...

Hmmmm....nothing that I know of. Though a lot of the '80-90s Fleetwood Broughams had wire wheels.. I saw one somewhere that someone had built w/ wide whites and '59 Cadillac hubcaps which looked surprisingly good on it, IMO.

Well I am going to guess that there is a big difference between the stock wire wheels and the caddys lowrider wire wheels  , I have an idea, going to look at some pics
