Ryan S. Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Got some fun stuff yesterday. My girlfriend decided to get me an early birthday present so now I've got an airbrush and compressor to play around with. I picked up the pearl powders from Michaels for 50% off and got a little shippment of distributors and resin from Kris Morgan at M.A.D. Pretty excited to get the AB fired up and test it out. I've ordered Donn Yost's video on AB techniques as well so I hope to see lots of shine in my future.
RodneyBad Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Hey! I got a Custom Harley today! Nice looking bike, it looks like ya slimmed down a bit too..
Romell R Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Nice looking bike, it looks like ya slimmed down a bit too.. yeah Ive lost a little weight Ive been mountain biking on weekends thanks for noticing
cobraman Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 That bike is beautiful ! I miss my Harley but wife was always afraid when I rode so I gave it up. They may be dangerous but they sure are fun. Be safe and watch out for the Jerks who won't pay attention to bikes.
High octane Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 I picked up four 70's truck grilles at a club meeting last night.
camaroman Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 ... Be safe and watch out for the Jerks who won't pay attention to bikes. Also watch out for jerks on bikes that think just because their bike will FIT between you and the loaded semi next to you ,driving @ 70 mph, they should be able to pass you there ... Almost got us ALL killed ! True story and I was driving a van loaded with teenagers! What an idiot! Romell, Enjoy the bike, just be safe!

Austin T Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) Yea,sadly a lot of times accidents are from people not paying attention,Look twice save a life.I remember when me and my dad were going to Lynchberg on a Sportster and almost got T-boned by an SUV,we were lucky that it was a nimble bike and just barely swerved out of the way. Scuderia Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 that cutlass is pretty. The latest addition isn't anything that special.
Guest Darkside Customs Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Thanks man.... Love those older testarossas
martinfan5 Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I almost bought another Ferrari kit today at Michaels, but I guess it was clearance and I couldn't use the 50% off coupon, and sadly, even on clearance it was well over $20
Jared Roach Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Got my truck back from the body shop and got my new wheels.
JamesW Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) Looks good Jared. Now all you gotta do is lower it about 4 inches to reduce the fender/wheel gap. Edited June 16, 2012 by JamesW
Jared Roach Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Haha You're not the first to tell me that. But in the spring it will be dropped 3/4. I need it for one more winter and then it's getting stored from then on.
JamesW Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Make sure you keep it clean or you'll be replacing the corners and rockers again.
Tonioseven Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I got to wake up and live another day! Right on!!!

And what kit was that where it was still 20+ Jon??
High octane Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 These came in also... Nice stuff, in fact I just sent in an order to Parks today for some of his products.
martinfan5 Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Thanks James, hopefully I can get this one to sit cleaner than my roadster... And what kit was that where it was still 20+ Jon?? Lawrence, it was the Ferrari California kit, I think the clearance price rang at $19.99, so after tax it would be around $23 or so, It would of been nice if they would of had the kit marked as clearance
Casey Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Picked up this little guy yesterday. Should make a nice 2-day build:
