DrewCfromSC Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Well, I know it aint nothing to the motherloads others find here. But while waiting for one of my favorite Antique mall to buy furnature at to open went into a Roses store and found 4 cans of testors spray paint, 12 micro glue tips and one bottle of flat white. Looks like a can of gold spary paint had exploded in the area as all items were gold. Anyway got it for $2.00 Now if I could have only found some model kits? Drew C. from S.C.
walt francis Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I picked these two up yesterday These have some super detail for being 1:64 I might go back and pick up the RR and the nova today

Jon Cole Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Went to a flea market today (I needed to restock) and found two Porsche kits for $3 each, the 1/20 scale 914, and a 928 circa 1978 copyright.
TurboKitty Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Mailman brought me some goodies! The Revell of Germany Audi R8 is from a trade with Joe Chernauskas, (love the kit thanks Joe! I'll be getting yours out ASAP ) the pair of Tamiya Alfa Romeo GTV kits are scores from eBay (got both for less than $25 shipped, not too shabby!) and the 1/43 Pontiac Fiero is a pullback car in great shape that I got at a yard sale over the weekend, I might let go of it since it was an impulse buy lol. Lastly is my '69 Charger R/T Hemi clock that I got last weekend at a flea market, I love it!

Chuck Most Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 No kits, but I did get the Grabber hood for my Maverick from Bandit Resins today. Now I've just got to get the motivation to finish the car.
crazyjim Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Brad - could explian the stepped sleeves? You get tires and sleeves - what do you use for the actual wheel? Are the sleeves used to make deep dish wheels? Do you use a wheel from a kit with the sleeve?

Ricks Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Pegasus Hobbies 19" stepped sleeves with tires, 23" stepped sleeves with tires, and 23" 'Phat Daddys' wheels and tires; all from ScaleDreams (thanks again if you are a member here). Customer service was great and shipping was quick. Bradley.. Glad they made it there fast and safe.. Pleasure top help ya.. Brad - could explian the stepped sleeves? You get tires and sleeves - what do you use for the actual wheel? Are the sleeves used to make deep dish wheels? Do you use a wheel from a kit with the sleeve? Jim.. The sleeves come in two different sizes.. 19 and 23.. the 23 inch sleeve will take any of the pegasus 19 inch wheels and convert them to 23s.. Really helpful for making stagered 19/23 combos of wheels they only offer in 19 as shown here.. Model build by Randy I.. he used a set of 19 inch diablos and put 23inch sleeves on the back.. The 19 inch sleeves are used for converting alot of kit wheels into a 19inch wheel. So really just another up sizing method. I have seen quite a few kit wheels used.
