Pat Minarick Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Beautiful job, Pat. Wonderful build. Thanks Doc.
lower99 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Hey guys, I know this thread is a while old, but i found a photo of something i want to build, and i think it fits in here. But i need some ideas for the cab, possible base models or sth, because i dont want to completely scratch it: And i'm interested, if there is somebody who started a new project or has updates?...
Jantrix Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 i dont want to completely scratch it: I think you are gonna be completely out luck for 99% of this. The cab looks like it might be from some old steam shovel or other construction machine. An engine might be possible, but the rest? Place a big order with Plastruct because you're gonna need it.

Looks to me like a modified stagecoach... We should reboot this thread!
chunkypeanutbutter Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) you just done did! Just got a Bridge on the River Kwai thought... "What have I done..." Need to get my photo situation sorted out. Edited September 25, 2014 by chunkypeanutbutter

That looks pretty cool, it does kind of look like stagecoach or maybe a passenger train car , maybe an old O scale train car would be a good start? Glad to see something on here again.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 That looks like a rotary snowplow from a train, as well.
JTalmage Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Almost looks like you could take a Tall T or a middle door T and make that cabin area. Doesnt Jimmy Flintstone make those bodies?
Tom Geiger Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Armor up that cab and we could go chasing ISIS with that beast!
lower99 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 @Tom Geiger : Yeah for sure @JTalmage : A Flintstone kit isnt a real posibility, because i´m located in Germany and the shipping would be outlandish... I´ll look out for an old passenger train car....the plow is my biggest fear :/ We´ll see...

It's a little small but that could work for this application. Maybe Those have been available local for you? Edited September 28, 2014 by Tom Geiger
David G. Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 It would also work on Doctor Cranky's Zombie Apocalypse community build page! David G.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 David, I think you are right. That thing can be considered a Zombie shredder.
