Hollywood Jim
I find it hard not to watch. Especially considering what else is usually on TV. And every once in a while you see a cool car that is sold for a price that makes you say, "Hey I could almost afford that car !" . . . . martinfan5
I admit, I do watch some of it, I would like to go one time and just walk around and look at all the cars

At least that's what my price range could be.
bentmetal
Since chrysler stopped being a major sponsor every time a mopar comes across the block they break to a comercial or some other stupid item and you usually miss the bidding. Let's see them do this when the hemi vert comes up for sale.
Hollywood Jim
They sell cars for less than five grand? At least that's what my price range could be. Well, I'm thinking more like $10,000 to $15,000. Last year, or the year before, I saw this sweet 1950 Chevy truck go for about $12,000 ! If you look at new and used car prices you can't buy much for $10,000 to $15,000. Of course they want cash and I'd need a loan. LOL . . . Harry P.
I just got my latest issue of Hemmings "Classic Car" magazine. A six page ad for B-J! Seriously? SIX page ad??? I guess now I know who's really behind the magazine...

martinfan5
Looks like you're local - why don't you go? I dont know, I have had the chance to go for free, just never had the time , and I dont like going Scottsdale A few years back, we went to Vegas for my birthday, we were there on the same weekend as the Vegas auction, and I didnt not put two and two together while I was seeing people walking around with BJ lanyards passes, Sunday it hit me Whats even worse, we were staying at the Luxor, one Casino over from the Auction
CadillacPat
It's an All American Event that personifies success and good old Capitalism. A parade of great cars to watch right from the living room. One of the few TV Car Shows where the Car is actually the star. caine440
I wondered why I never see a Mopar on the show. Guess that ends any interest for me.
johnbuzzed
Yeah, I have watched some B-J auctions in the past, and some of the cars are cool, but I would'nt go even if I won lotto... it's a lot of over-hyped nonsense. Won't watch it anymore as I don't need to hear the inane ramblings of some auctioneer mixed in with the questionable utterances of whatever they call those people that "help" those who are bidding make their bids. "Tasteless garbage..." At least, that's my opinion. Maybe if the event were to be held with a touch of class, as with some of the auction action seen in "Chasing Classic Cars"... johnbuzzed
I wondered why I never see a Mopar on the show. Guess that ends any interest for me. They're there, but not in the numbers as the '69 Camaros, "Tri-Five" Chevies, etc. Maybe more people want to hold on to their old Mopars . I would if I had one. Rob Hall
I enjoy strolling around looking at the cars and checking out the merch inside...I'll probably go again this year, to Russo & Steele, and maybe the Gooding & Company auction again also. And the cruise in at the Scottsdale Pavillions is always good that weekend. Auction Week is one of the things I enjoy about living in the Valley of the Sun. Guest
I watch it occasionally and while I've seen some cars go for ridiculous prices, I've seen several go for less than what it would cost the average person like myself to have it built. Sometimes, I think the people who built the car may have lost money or barely broke even.

slusher
l am sure its nice to have money but some of the money they spend on cars could feed lots of hungry kids here in this country...
