pharoah Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Greetings! I figured I'd better sign up. I've been looking around at all the great builds and wanted to get in on the action. I'm a long time modeler, since 1961 or so. I go through phases when I don't build anything for a long time, and then start up again. You know how it is. I like to scratch build or build straight from the box, whatever I'm in the mood for. Well, enough talk here's a couple of my builds. I hope you like them.
my name is nobody Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 a couple of very nice trucks! Welcome to the board.

pharoah Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 John, Why do I think I've seen your work before? Art Anderson (from Lafayette IN) Hmmm, I'm not sure. I've sold several on the bay.
fatkidd Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I stared at this for quite a while. It is beautiful! The part that really catches my eye is where the spare tire cover used to be...the shading is subtle but perfect. It almost looks like the cover is really there. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.
pharoah Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 Thanks fatkidd! There's a slight indentation where it mounts. Too bad you can't see so,e of the other stuff I did. The back doors are slightly open, and the floor is rotting away. There's no seat, and the floor pan is rusting through. I sold this a few years ago. Here's the only other pics I can find of it.
lanesteele240 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 welcome. now rust in peace. see that was a joke on how real your rust looks. keep them comming and share that knowledge
