Really good stuff, David!

You gotta get those out to Goodguys and Desert Scale Classic!! Show 'em off!

Thanks Danno! I may do that next time... if I'm not scheduled to work that day.

Nice work. Which 63 is that?

Thanks, I was told that based on the lack of a firewall and the simplified engine, that it's most likely an old AMT kit.

Thanks to everybody else for all the kind words.

I remembered that I also finished am AMT 62 Buick this year. I'll try to get some pics posted soon.

I finally got a couple of pics of the AMT 62 Buick ready to post

This is the first one that I painted with my airbrush. I used a purple base coat with translucent silver on top of that followed by clear. I just couldn't get a good shine on it though.

I used the "lowered" setting for the rear axle and raised the front just a touch for an old school low rider look. Shaving the door handles and most of the trim helped complete the look.

Thanks for looking,

David G.

Hello Everybody!

As some of you may know, I've been going back over my old threads and updating old photos and replacing broken photo links. To say that there is a lot of work involved in such a project is a bit of an understatement.

I know that some of these threads are rather old but I feel that they are important just the same.

Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy.

David G.
