57peppershaker Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Does anybody cast these 1;25 bare rally whees, without caps ? Read that an AMT 75 Corvette (50th anv) also comes with them, can anybody confirm which kit ?
dimaxion Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 These wheels are to be found in the AMT/Ertl '70 Corvette ZR 1 kits . Try a plea in "parts wanted" in the Model Car Forums unless you want fleet quantities . I know someone casts these in resin also . A little help here ? Thanx ..
george 53 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 These wheels came in MOST of the STOCK early MPC vette kits. They look pretty good, too, if I say so myself!

Ah, that's where I screwed up. I did recall they are bare plastic, and not chrome plated, but assumed those I saw were the wheel back halves. Thank you for the confirmation...I have some correcting to do.

Casey, am I going crazy or did you post in Wanted last night looking for a couple sets of these wheels? But it's not there now.
