Mercman Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) Always wanted my own Hobby Shop now I have one. It comes with these neat inside graphics. Well what did you expect. Edited February 10, 2013 by Mercman
charlie8575 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Very cool kit. I like the Walthers Cornerstone kits, and have a few of them. Someday, when I have my trains up again (and the room for them), they'll be used to dot my layout with a variety of objects and structures. Charlie Larkin
mikemodeler Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 How cool would it be to have that in 1/25 scale? Imagine a diorama with a car show in the parking lot!
Erik Smith Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 It's cool but very inaccurate - there are kids looking in the window.
Tom Geiger Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Wow! A hobby shop that won't lose money!
The70judgeman Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 The main inside picture of the store and the 2 employee graphics pictures are from Model Empire in West Allis, WI. The hobby store I frequent the most.

The70judgeman Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Dang Andy, I thought that looked familiar! What a neat way to honor a great hobby shop! I agree...it's owned and run by a multi-generational family. They're great people. Also, Walthers is a Milwaukee based model train company, so it kind of fits.
bigphoto Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 How cool would it be to have that in 1/25 scale? Imagine a diorama with a car show in the parking lot! Then you could set up a Z scale train inside!!
Kit Basher Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 What are you doing with my Hobby Shop?! (See full name below)
plastic trucker Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 And here I thought you started one up in the Bismarck area.
Austin T Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 I'd like my own one to,a real one. I just wrote a ten page business plan for opening a HobbyTown USA in Nashville for entrepreneurship class.
robertw Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 And here I thought you started one up in the Bismarck area. And after passing through Bismark last summer it could certainly use a good hobby shop! The kit certainly cool and if I see one I'll probably pick one up.
