Skip Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 OK, now that I've got your attention! When you post a picture what size do you post it so that it is bigger than a medium sized thumbnail picture like the ones I always get. I've tried messing around with the pixel counts but don't want to get something that is so huge that it takes up a whole screen, the one above is 800 X 597. Some of you guys get a really good sized picture in your posts. What's the trick for the rest of us "Image Post Challenged" users? Help please...
lanesteele240 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I like it when you take up the screen. Most everybody's connection is fast enough to download your pics and we get to see more details that may have been missed with a thumb nail sized pic
TooOld Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I'm not positive about this but if you are attaching files directly to your post they will always show up as a thumbnail photo , regardless of whether they are 400 x 400 or 1400 x 1400 dpi . You need to use a photo sharing site to post full size photos .
sjordan2 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 (edited) This forum will accommodate generally whatever size picture you want, and display it as a small thumbnail in your post when you upload and attach directly to your post from your computer. Click on it and it will become original size. Paste in your copied Photobucket IMG code and it may display either actual size or a slightly smaller version of your image in your post and make it capable of enlarging, but it will not be a thumbnail. Photobucket has changed over the past couple of months and someone among the forum administrators needs to create a new tutorial about how to use it. Edited March 3, 2013 by sjordan2

They really don't need to, it is still the same way but the direct link button has been relocated.
