chevyfever2009 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 My uncle gave me this car to restore or ? But i dont know what kind of car it is
cobraman Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I'm thinking Duster. Doesn't the Demon have verticle tail lights ?
gtx6970 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 1972 Plymouth Duster with some really thick paint
MoparWoman Jamie Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) Duster Edited March 11, 2013 by M0par Jim
1930fordpickup Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 72 Duster. Looks like it is going for a swim in the purple pond .That will tell you a bunch after the swim.
chevyfever2009 Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 72 Plymouth duster, man it looks rough. it has sit inthe open attic 20+ years he had it forever
Drake69 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 That's definitely a Duster. Demons have vertical slotted rear tail lights.
mnwildpunk Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Duster I agree but what is making ya'll say 72 ? It looks like my 71 kit
Jantrix Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 It looks like it needs a serious dip in the purple pond. I have gotten a few kits from the attic from folks, but due to the crazy temps you get up there, there is always some warpage. I know its from a family member and all but the kit is readily available so restoring this might be more trouble than it is worth.
Tom Geiger Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) I know its from a family member and all but the kit is readily available so restoring this might be more trouble than it is worth. Ah, but this one is an original annual kit done back in 1971. The kit available now is a recent AMT tool. Yes, the new tool has more detail etc, but purists will still want the original! I wouldn't chuck it, at the least I'd give it to someone who would want it for what it is. Edited March 12, 2013 by Tom Geiger
JunkPile Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 It kinda looks as if it has fender flair attaching points
chevyfever2009 Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 So since this is a orgninal release finding parts will be next to impossiable then?
