Renaz Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Hello Guys, They say modellers is somewhat masochistic, mainly by brazilian lands here... For the price we pay for our kits here in Brazil, the lack of tools and accessories to our hobby, PEs, etc, etc, etc... Haul here "Assemble Challenge Nº 02" from my experience in the hobby: assemble a kit Heller, a car featureless and difficult to search and make it a Rat Hod worthy of putting on the shelf of my humble collection! Has anyone found a French Rat Hod around? Will commit unpardonable sacrilege to the task? After the Rat Evilrod 666 (see here the assembly: ?, I present to you my newest project: French Ratz - Renault Vivastella 1932 | Codename "Rust Yellow Ball"! Hehehehehe ... I have a reference "rather vague" what can I transform my project. In reality, it is more moral support than design reference itself. Wheels and Tires... Heller kit motor and chassi... Does'll get to somewhere? This place is interesting? Huahauhauhauhau ... Here we go! Best,
Renaz Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 Hello Guys, The updates of "Rust Yellow Ball". Work on body... The motor... The trunk... Some putty... The wheels and poor tires... Dryfit of Rust Rat Hod! Frontal 45º: Back 45º: Hope you all like the result so far and give opinions about this new job. Best,

Second part of the assembly... Completion of support bases... Start from the top of Jack Stands: Final part. Now missing painting and aging that will occur with the Yellow Rust Ball[/ b]. Renaz Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 Hello Guys, Updates in the car... Dryfit of frontal part... In the next pictures you will see the pre-assembly of the front suspension, chassis, engine and detail onsite battery (I have seen that neither will appear in the final assembly). Dryfit of frontal part... I prefer the real stuff to try to make plastic look like metal, wood, glass, etc... Still do the finishing. In the next update, I already have the full floor. Frontal grille... I hope everyone is enjoying Rust Yellow Ball. Best, Hello Guys Continuing this project... Therefore, I have strived to continue posting progress (even if slow and small). Let's do one more. Then the torture begins... Hits, align, glue, take off, do it again... Best,

Modlbldr Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Great looking build. Love the details you are putting into it. I'd say that you are a bit masochistic! It made me just cringe looking at the photos and thinking that you are using a double edged razor blade to cut with. Last time I used one of those in that manner I almost needed stitches before I was done. Let's just say there was a lot of blood to clean up. Later-
