Does anyone remember this?

I remember being in the Revell club and Hot wheel club , I got from Revell little booklets called "getting it together" and I got the luckey pierre

plane ,and some plastic tools and a iron on . and in the Hot wheel club I got the Chrome Boss mustang and a big Snake and Mongoose hot wheels poster wish I still had that.

Not the same program but I do rememer joining this Science Program for ten cents but every model they sent probably got blown up with firecrackers at some point.  Somewhere I have a Master Modeler certificate from Revell.

I too bought the above at the time. The Revell model, the "Man in Space" book, the "wall chart" poster that came with it were great. The other science books you got later? Not so much. Both the Man in Space book, the the poster, a couple of the other books, and the "library case", can be seen on display at the high school I work at. I have a display case at Spring Lake Park, MN's high school, where several of my more "educational" models, etc. are on display. 

The original model is long gone. But, last year I bought the latest reissue, and a copy of the old instructions, and built kit according to those instructions. Asseen in the photo below. That model is not on display at the high school. I have a more accurate model of the moon landing there.

UnclsScott58 - that is pretty cool.  Glad to hear it has served a useful purpose for man years.  Every time I go to Hobby Lobby I think about getting the larger Lunar Landing kit.  I usually only build cars but when I was much younger I built just about everything.  I think I still have the standing astronaut in my parts stash.

Oh wow!  Envious!  I really like that series shay Revell did - they’re all on my ‘grail’ list!

No, it came with "scrissors" .
