Platerpants Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Those ratrod duallys look sweet! I think thats a great subject. I like the opel one better. These are all great lookin duallies guys
Gothic Kustomz Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Ok, maybe not a dualy in the proper sence, with super singles under the rear, and it's still in progress, but what the hey:
dptydawg Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 When I first reead this string I thought that I have a couple duelly models that I could post. Seems I have several. Most are from the fire service though. This is a Dodge Van cab and chassis with a RoG Unimog fire rescue bdy grafted onto it. I added duel wheels to the van. This one is a diecast 58 Chevy that I built a new flatbed for and converted it into a service truck. The engine was replaced with a 4V-71 Detroit. A Matchbox F450 diecast converted to a mini-pumper A 1969 MPC firetruck kit AMT Dodge 1996 Ram2500 Snapkit
Steak&Brew Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 dptydawg, sweet truck but where could i find the detroit green color? Thanks
dptydawg Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Hi Alex The paint I use on Detroit Deisel engines is Badger 16-47 light green water based acrylic. Its the closest thing I've found to the right colour. Hobby shops that specialize in model trains often carry Badger paints. Thanks Carl

hooknladderno1 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Here is one of mine "In Progress" It is for my semi-fictitious airport fire dept. It will most likely get a "rehab", with a white roof, new graphics, and completion of the pump, hose reels and firefighting system. David
