BOSWELL891 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I call this one "Black Magic". Took me about 2 months to complete this build it's all box stock and painted with rustoleum gloss black. This is only the second time I have painted a model black and i think it came out pretty good, the pictures do not really do the paint justice. I forgot to get a picture of the interior before I put it together, but its just red and white. I'm really satisfied with the way this one came out. All comments welcome! Thanks for looking!
cobraman Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Nice. Almost looks like a real car in your photos.
peter31a Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Very cool in black. Neat seeing this kit in a basic colour like black.
Grumpa Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Great looking '48 Cole! Very clean and simple. Kind of has a '50's-'60's Hot Rod look!
lazlow Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 great build. Your photography is awesome. what did you use for the pavement, it looks so real and to scale. I guessing a foot tread?

For the pavement I just took a piece of wooden board and then painted it with rustoleum textured spray paint and then added some white lines to simulate a road
Scalper Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Looks cool.. VEry nice ... I like your road. thanks for the tip.

dino246gt Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Very realistic build, that's what they looked like in the sixties, nice job and photos.
kingiguana Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Very cool looking Ford. Simple, but effective. I love the front pic, it looks like Grumpy Cat. Or perhaps Grumpy Car ?
mcgedert Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Very cool build. Nice, claen, and not all hot rodded out. a little rust would look good on that. Like a nice survivor car.
Sixties Sam Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Very good looking Ford! The black looks good. The sunset lighting adds drama to the photos. Good work! Sam
