Hello everyone, I thought I would share my latest creation.

This is a 09 Chevy Silverado just about laying frame.

Only a curbside, no engine or chassis detail.

This started out as a John Deer toy found in the local farm supply store.

Modified quite a bit as the toy did not have much for detail.

It's about 1/16 scale I guess, not sure exactly.

Modifications:

Body sectioned out from a crew cab to a "club cab I guess".

Bed mostly removed, crued "raised" engine compartment removed.

Steering through the steering wheel retained.

Headlight sections extended back, bumper extended rearward.

Scratch built items:

Wheels

Headlight buckets and glass

Taillight buckets and glass

Tow hooks

Bed cover

Mirrors (3)

Wipers

Satellite antenna

Tires are modified RC car items

Krylon paint, clear, rubbed out and waxed

Grill, headlight/taillight buckets, mirrors painted with Alclad, my first time using and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Let me know what you all think of it..
